Electromobility in the Region of Vorarlberg

The region Vorarlberg is located in the west part of Austria. and is bordered by Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Vorarlberg is known as a strong business and tourism location. The illwerke vkw group started in 2008 with the project VLOTTE, which has been the first model region for e-mobility in Austria. VLOTTE was furthermore one of the biggest model regions for e-mobility worldwide.

Research Studio Smart Technical Embroideries

As a special project activity a so-called Research Studio for 'Smart Technical Embroidery' (RS-STE) has been established at the Research Institute for Textile Chemistry and Textile Physics - University Innsbruck, which utilises research results of the institute and advances them in cooperation with technical embroidery companies into new functional products.
