The project began on 1 April 2016 with the participation of Pannon Novum Non-profit Ltd as a partner and the professional support of the Ministry of Finance (GINOP Steering Authority) and a smaller local stakeholder group. The lead partner is Lower-Austria Region who coordinates the cooperation between Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Polish, Finnish and Bulgarian regions to support each other in the development of  their innovation policies. They can learn from each other,  through presentations, workshops, study visits and personal change of experience. Based on these the partners can suggest each other policies to facilitate the company R&D and innovation activity as well as the co-operation between companies and universities.

The most important result of the first 3 years of the project is a regional action plan, that summarizes the experiences and possibilities of the domestic use of the European good practices.
