ELMOs at the biggest event in the electric drive industry
Initiated by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) in 1964, the EVS is widely accepted as the top name global forum for the electric transport industry. It is a platform for all types already-available solutions and in addition also for all innovations that are still in the developing process. Up to now more then 540 papers from 40 countries where submitted to the Congress Committee by speakers representing research and practice. The debate will focus on the most important topics of the industry and discuss future developments and influences. This time the FP7 project ELMOs – Electromobility Solutions for Cities and Regions funded by the European Commission will become the possibility to present at EVS27 its overall goals, the interim project results and the used approaches. ELMOs is a project aiming at providing regions with holistic green mobility solutions that drive quality of life, competiveness and growth. Within the project concepts will be delivered for a better exchange of electromobility knowledge at regional and EU level. Furthermore, concepts for new business models and for cross-border field tests will be developed and implemented. Ten partners, thereof six research-driven clusters, from six neighbouring countries (FR, GER, CH, H, A, SLO) – in total 846 companies, 28 research organisations, 27 public authorities and 31 other regional stakeholders – join forces to facilitate sustainable future mobility solutions.
