The European Agency - Office of Harmonisation of the Internal Market (OHIM) –responsible for the management of community trade marks and designs at community level, has established a framework of cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network that includes the organisation of events, trainings and joint actions for the benefit of innovative SMEs and Network partners.

In this context, we are pleased to announce you the opportunity to be European SME as protagonist of promotional videos developed by OHIM.

You may see similar videos already published on both OHIM website and the OHIM section in Youtube :

This is indeed a very good tool to promote your innovative SMEs and efficient methods to protect and exploit the intellectual assets of your clients !!

Criteria for searching suitable SMEs:

• They should have already registered a CTM (community trade mark) or an RCD (registered community design) or both.

• They have to be SME, with up to 250 employees.

• For the first selection they need France, Italy and some new Member States, but in general they are interested in SMEs from the entire EU.

• For the first selection they need at least 3 women doing the talking (policy of equal treatment to balance the current videos whose protagonists are men entrepreneurs).

• The most interesting SMEs are those that: have an interesting story, a product or a service that is interesting verbally or visually, and that what they actually do is not very  technical, so that anyone seeing the video can understand their business without any problem.

• The person being interviewed should be able to do it in a good level of one of the official languages of the office: EN, ES, IT, FR, DE.

Those interested in submitting candidates may send us a short description of the candidate SMEs in EN, ES, FR or DE (languages managed by OHIM)  in order to make the selection and send you the decision made.

The support of the Enterprise Europe Network partner on this will be acknowledged on the video as well.

Possible candidates should be addressed to us before 15th September 2010
