The Commercial chamber, an incubator house and an enterprise foundation co-operate in Nagykanizsa
Polay József, the president of city chamber said: the cooperation aims to help to South-Zala businesses and promote the development of city’s economic in right direction. He explained that there is no hope for Nagykanizsa in the field of invesments like the Opel and Mercedes investments are. Therefore they would like to reach the resettling of 200-300-people-companies, but even a smaller company's appearance also could mean a lot.
Presently there are about 3 500 companies operating in Nagykanizsa, and if every second could apply just one more worker, the unemployment would not be a problem - he added. That is why they came together to provide information; to present the application or training opportunities and give advice for obtaining aid for existing businesses here.
Mihovics József, manager of the incubator house, said that on 5th of May, they held the first information day. The event was about the regional economic development applications, micro-credit facilities and the Széchenyi-card’s favourable conditions.
Kerekes Gábor, office manager of ZMVA added: the foundation (which operating since 1992) provides advice and support to micro- and small businesses such tenders or credit opportunities. In his opinion the scope is not know that e.g. micro-credit can claim from 50-employees-companies, not just the smallest firms.
