Building on a sound implementation of 124 funded projects, the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme in 2012 focused on further capitalising project results, helping to link these to the wider political framework of EU Cohesion Policy and the EU 2020 Strategy. At the same time, the Programme kicked off the process of preparing the new CENTRAL EUROPE Programme 2014-2020, based on the interest of all eight Programme Member States to continue transnational cooperation in the area and building on experiences made in the programming period 2007-2013.

Az Új Széchenyi Terv keretében a Nemzeti Fejlesztési Ügynökség pályázatot hirdet a Magyar-indiai (KTIA-DST) K+F+I együttműködési Programban való magyar részvétel támogatására, melyre 2013-ban a Kutatási és Technológiai Innovációs Alap terhére 270 millió forint biztosított. Pályázni 2013. augusztus 1-jétől a rendelkezésre álló keret kimerüléséig, de legkésőbb 2013. szeptember 2-ig lehetséges.

A nyílt innováció térségi és európai helyzetét elemző, azt támogató EURIS INTERREG IVC projekt konferenciájának előadásai letölthetőek. Production has started in the new, EUR 900 million Audi plant in Győr, Northwest Hungary. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who stressed the role of the German car manufacturer in boosting Hungary’s importance as a regional automotive industry centre. The company’s CEO called the Győr plant one of the pillars of Audi’s growth.

At the 22nd Youth Science and Innovation Talent Search Competition Balázs Zsombori of Hungary has been awarded first prize for his speech assistance software PictoVerb, which facilitates the verbal communication of people with speech impairment. He developed the program in an effort to help a teacher who had undergone laryngotomy.
